International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a two (2) year period of ineligibility against Valeriia Koniukhova from Ukraine. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 12 October 2023, revealed the presence of Furosemide, which is listed in Section S5 of the WADA Prohibited List as a Diuretic and Masking Agent.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 24 November 2025. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
