IPF Sanctions Tetiana Zhydkova for Anti-Doping Rule Violation

International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) announced today that Tetiana Zhydkova from Urkaine received a
two (2) year sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected in-competition
on 27 August 2022, revealed the presence of Furosemide which is listed in Section S5 of the WADA
Prohibited List as a Diuretic and Masking Agent.  
 
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 11 October 2024. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to
a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
