International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a four (4) year period of ineligibility against Tatiana Awwad from Lebanon. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 21 July 2023, revealed the presence of Stanozolol and Oxymetholone, which are both listed in Section S1 of the WADA Prohibited List as Anabolic Androgenic Steroids.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility concluded on 07 November 2027. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
