International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a four (4) year period of ineligibility against Mohammad Salman from India. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 27 August 2023, revealed the presence of Methandienone, which is listed in Section S1 of the WADA Prohibited List as an Anabolic Androgenic Steroid.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility concluded on 09 November 2027. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
