IPF Sanctions Mark Thomas Pope for Anti-Doping Rule Violation

International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a three (3) year period of ineligibility against Mark Thomas Pope from Canada. The athlete’s urine sample,
collected In-competition on 10 October 2023, revealed the presence of Metenolone, Drostanolone, and Trenbolone, all of which are listed in Section S1 of the WADA Prohibited List as an Anabolic Androgenic
Steroids.

The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 15 November 2026. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
