International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a four (4) year period of ineligibility against Hadi Talkhabi from Iran. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-
competition on 15 October 2023, revealed the presence of Methandienone and Methylphenidate.
Methandienone is listed in Section S1 of the WADA Prohibited List as an Anabolic Androgenic Steroid. Methlyphenidate is listed in Section S6 of the List as a Specified Stimulant.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility concluded on 29 November 2027. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
