International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a six (6) year period of ineligibility against Alejandro Cedillo from Mexico. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 20 October 2023, revealed the presence of Nandrolone, Clostebol, Metandienone,Testosterone, and Boldenone, all of which are all listed in Section S1 of the WADA Prohibited List as an Anabolic Androgenic Steroids.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility concluded on 07 December 2029. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
