IPF Sanctions Aibar Yerzhanov for Anti-Doping Rule Violation

International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a three (3) year period of ineligibility against Aibar Yerzhanov from Kazakhstan. The athlete’s urine sample,
collected In-competition on 12 October 2023, revealed the presence of 19-Norandrosterone, Clostebol,Trenbolone, which are all listed in Section S1 of the WADA Prohibited List as an Anabolic Androgenic
Steroids, and also Anastrozole, which is listed in Section S64 of the List as a Hormone and Metabolic Modulator.

The athlete’s period of ineligibility concluded on 22 November 2026. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
