Dear IPF Member Federations,
It is my pleasure to inform you the IPF will take part in the United Through Sports (UTS) Virtual Youth Sports Festival that will take place on November 20-22, 2020.
More than 80 international sports organizations have joined forces to unite athletes on a digital platform for the festival, which shall fall under patronage of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the International Paralympic committee (IPC), Special Olympics International (SOI), SportAccord, the Global Association for International Sports Federations (GAISF), and finally the Alliance of International Members of Sport. (AIMS).
The event shall be opened by Dr. Tomas Bach, President, of the International Olympic Committee.
I'm pleased to inform you the IPF has selected for 18 athletes (9 Men/9 Women) to take part in the MAX FIT finals competition for this festival. I wish our athletes the very best of success and thank you for all of your hard work and preparation for this event.
I want to personally thank Jennifer Thompson (USA), Robert Keller (USA) and Alex Alvarado (PUR) for their tireless work in preparing our athletes for the Festival. I also want to thank all of the IPF Member Federations for supporting this event.
