Dear lifters, dear officials, dear friends
It is with great sadness that I must inform you that the Open Equipped Worlds in Stavanger, Norway, and the Masters Worlds in Potchefstroom, South Africa needs to be cancelled. Unfortunately the covid19 is still going on and restrictions have been made in several countries also those like Norway and South Africa. So we have tried all our best and we where waiting how the situation is going on. Unfortunately in the wrong direction and so we have decided now that no Worlds will happened this year. Health is still our main priority for all of us. We have also made changes in our calendar concerning the dates for next year. So the dates for the Worlds are correct but the location’s will change for the one or other Worlds like Classic will still be held in Minsk. The Bench press Worlds has been postponed to later date and we are working on the Open equipped to have it in Stavanger, Norway and the Masters in South Africa. But that will be added later on the calendar. The dates are the one we will use as it stand’s now in our calendar. I am speaking here only about the Worlds. The Region’s need adapt there calendar as well.
So I am really sorry for that as we miss each other and of course our competition’s. Stay safe, take care all of you and your families.
