International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an Anti-Doping Rule Violation, which includes a five (5) year period of ineligibility against Sandeep Kumar Bansal from India. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 14 May 2026, revealed the presence of five (5) substances listed under S1.1
Anabolic Androgenic Steroids, S1.2 Other Anabolic Agents, and S6. Stimulants of the WADA Prohibited List. The substances were 19-norandrosterone (S1.1), Metandienone (S1.1), Stanozolol (S1.1), SARMS LGD-4033 – Ligandrol (S1.2), and Mephentermine (S6).
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 04 June 2031. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation pursuant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
