International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an Anti-Doping Rule Violation, which includes a six (6) year period of ineligibility against Vishal Umbalkar from India. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 19 October 2025, revealed the presence of Metandienone, Trenbolone, Stanozolol, and Exogenous Testosterone, all of which are listed in Section S1 of the WADA Prohibited List as an Anabolic Androgenic Steroids.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 12 February 2032. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation pursuant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
