The International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has launched an IPF Technical Rule Book Feedback Form as part of the consultation process following the IPF Executive Committee approved postponement of the implementation of the 2026 IPF Technical Rule Book to 01 March 2026.
Although IPF Technical Rules are normally revised on a four-year cycle, they may be amended prior to the end of that cycle when exigent or otherwise justified circumstances arise. The next IPF Technical Rule Book period is effective from 01 March 2026 to 01 March 2030.
The feedback form’s use is restricted to IPF Member Nations Executive Committees and/or Member Nation Technical Chairs and is designed to provide a structured and transparent mechanism for submitting proposed:
- Amendments to existing technical rules
- Deletions of existing rules
- New rule proposals
- Editorial or clarity-related corrections
Submissions require reference to the relevant rule section and page number, along with a clear justification to support review by the IPF Technical Committee and other relevant IPF bodies.
The form is available via the IPF Technical Rules page, and submissions will be reviewed by the IPF Technical Commission in accordance with IPF governance procedures. Submission of feedback does not guarantee adoption of proposed changes.
The IPF thanks its Member Nations for their continued engagement and contribution to the development and clarity of IPF Technical Rules.
