International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a two (2) year period of ineligibility against Vinutha Raghunath from India. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 09 October 2023, revealed the presence of Furosemide, a substance listed under Section S5 of the WADA Prohibited List as a Diuretics and Masking Agents.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 27 November 2025. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
