International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a four (4) year period of ineligibility against Sima Dutta Chatterjee from India. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 25 May 2023, revealed the presence of Stanozolol, which is listed in Section S1.1 of the WADA Prohibited List as an Anabolic Androgenic Steroids.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 10 August 2027. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
