International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a three (3) year period of ineligibility against Shouq Allouch from Syria. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 22 July 2023, revealed the presence of Metandienone, which is listed in Section S1 of the WADA Prohibited List as a Anabolic Androgenic Steroid.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 07 November 2026. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
