International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an Anti-Doping Rule Violation, which includes a two (2) year period of ineligibility against Rohith Somasekharan Pilla from India. The athlete’s urine sample, collected out-of-competition on 06 March 2026, revealed the presence of Tamoxifen, which is a specified
substance listed in Section S4 of the WADA Prohibited List as a Hormone and Metabolic Modulators.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 25 April 2028. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation pursuant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
