International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an Anti-Doping Rule Violation, which includes a four (4) year period of ineligibility against Prathiksha Prathiksha (“Shetty”) from India. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 07 May 2024, revealed the presence of Stanozolol, which is listed in Section S1 of the WADA Prohibited List as an Anabolic Androgenic Steroid.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 29 May 2028. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation pursuant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
