IPF Sanctions Murat Jaitabarov for Anti-Doping Rule Violation

International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a three (3) year period of ineligibility against Murat Jaitabarov from Kazakhstan. The athlete’s urine sample,
collected In-competition on 09 October 2023, revealed the presence of Metenolone, Drostanolone, Trenbolone, which are all listed in Section S1 of the WADA Prohibited List as Anabolic Androgenic Steroids, and Letrozole, which is listed in Section S4 of the WADA Prohibited List as a Hormone and Metabolic Modulator.

The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 09 November 2026. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
