IPF Sanctions Moustafa Abo Nasser for Anti-Doping Rule Violation

International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) announced today that Moustafa Abo Nasser from Palestine received a three-year sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 07 December 2022, revealed the presence of Dehydrochloromethyl-testosterone (DHCMT) and its metabolite, and Stanozolol, which are all listed in Section S1 of the WADA Prohibited List as an Anabolic Androgenic Steroid.

The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 30 January 2026. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
