IPF Sanctions Mohamed Abdulla Mohamed for Anti-Doping Rule Violation

International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a nine (9) year period of ineligibility against Mohamed Abdulla Mohamed from Libya. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 21 June 2024, revealed the presence of Trenbolone and Metenolone which are listed in Section S1.1 of the WADA Prohibited List as an Anabolic Androgenic Steroid, as well as Anastrozole, which is listed in Section S4 of the WADA Prohibited List as a Hormone and Metabolic Modulators.

The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 02 August 2033. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
