IPF Sanctions Mehmet Deniz for Anti-Doping Rule Violation

International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an Anti-Doping Rule Violation, which includes a five (5) year period of ineligibility against Mehmet Deniz from Türkiye. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 15 October 2025, revealed the presence of DHCMT, Stanozolol, Trenbolone, and Metandienone, all of which are listed in Section S1 of the WADA Prohibited List as Anabolic Androgenic Steroids.

The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 10 February 2031. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation pursuant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
