International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a three (3) year period of ineligibility against Mehdi Tahmasebi from Iran. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 17 Decenver 2023, revealed the presence of SARMS RAD140, a substance listed under Section S1.2 of the WADA Prohibited List as Other Anabolic Agents.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 21 February 2027. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
