International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a 22-month period of ineligibility against Jody Stevens from Ireland. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 16 April 2023, revealed the presence of Methylhexanamine, which is listed in Section S6 of the WADA Prohibited List as a Stimulant.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 16 February 2025. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
