International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a four (4)
year period of ineligibility against Francisco Ramos from Brazil. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-
competition on 05 March 2023, revealed the presence of Mestanolone, Methasterone, Oxymetholone,
Nandrolone, 19-Norandrosterone, 19-Noretiocholanolone, which are all listed in Section S1 of the WADA
Prohibited List as Anabolic Androgenic Steroids.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 01 April 2027. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a
prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
