IPF Sanctions Fernando Marcelo Soria Ojeda for Anti-Doping Rule Violation

International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) announced today that Fernando Marcelo Soria Ojeda from
Ecuador received a three-year sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample,
collected In-competition on 15 November 2022, revealed the presence of Stanozolol which is listed in
Section S1 of the WADA Prohibited List as an Anabolic Androgenic Steroid.  
 
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 02 December 2025. Until that time, the Athlete is subject
to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
