International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a three (3) year period of ineligibility against Dmytro Vovk from Ukraine. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 18 June 2023, revealed the presence of Modafinil, which is listed in Section S6.A. of the WADA Prohibited List as a Non-Specified Stimulant.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 11 August 2026. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
