International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) announced today that Dmitriy Chebanov from Kazakhstan received a three-year sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected in-competition on 27 May 2022, revealed the presence of Metandienone and Stanozolol which are both listed in Section S1.1 of the WADA Prohibited List as Anabolic Androgenic Steroid.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 25 July 2025. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
