International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a five (5) year period of ineligibility against Arslan Suyunshaliyev from Kazakhstan. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 01 June 2024, revealed the presence of Metandienone, which is listed in Section S1.1 of the WADA Prohibited List as an Anabolic Androgenic Steroid, SARMS LGD-4033 (Ligandrol), which is listed in Section S1.2 as an Other Anabolic Agent, and Clomifene, which is listed in Section S4 as a Hormone and Metabolic Modulator.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 02 August 2029. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
