International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) has issued an anti-doping rule violation, which includes a five (5) year period of ineligibility against Abdullah Imad Hameed Al-Fatlawi. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-competition on 08 May 2024, revealed the presence of Mesterolone, Metanienone and Trebolone, all of which are listed in Section S1 of the WADA Prohibited List as Anabolic Androgenic Steroids, as well as Clomifene and Anastrozole, both of which are listed in Section S4 of the WADA Prohibited List as Hormone and Metabolic Modulators.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 04 June 2029. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
