International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) announced today that Aaron Sloane from Northern Ireland
received a two-year sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected In-
competition on 03 September 2022, revealed the presence of Methylhexaneamine which is listed in Section
S6 of the WADA Prohibited List as a Stimulant.
The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 11 October 2024. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to
a prohibition against participation purusant to Article 10.4.1 of the IPF Anti-Doping Rules.
