IPF and Eurosport partner to show Key Events on Powerlifting Calendar

The International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) and Eurosport – Discovery’s premium sports brand – have reached agreement that will see key events on the powerlifting calendar broadcast on Eurosport across Europe and Asia in over 60 countries.

Eurosport which reaches more than 160 million homes in Europe and Asia, will screen next month’s Equipped World Championships live from Stavanger as well as the Classic and Equipped Powerlifting Open World Championships in 2022 and 2023.

For each event, there will be two days of live coverage encompassing four weight categories as well as a highlight of the event, aired twice after the event on Eurosport 1 or Eurosport 2 and Eurosport Asia.

The upcoming Equipped World Championships in Norway, Eurosport will broadcast live action from

19:00-21:30 CET on Wednesday 10 November

and from

14:30-17:00 on Saturday 13 November.
