Today, representatives of the IPF gave a presentation at the virtual AGM of the International Masters Games Association (“IMGA”). We are delighted to announce that, following a vote by the current members, the IPF was accepted as a member of the IMGA.
IPF President, Gaston Parage, said: “The membership in the IMGA is not only a big step for us, but also a huge opportunity for our Master lifters who will now be able to compete in multi-sport international events. I am happy for the Masters as they are the founders of our federation and they still embody the spirit of our sport.”
