We are saddened to learn of the passing of Vasyl Aloyev.
Master of Sport in both weightlifting and powerlifting, he was the president of the Ukrainian Powerlifting Federation from 1996 to 2004. He was a well respected coach for the Ukrainian team for many years, and also served the sport as an international IPF Category 1 referee.
We offer our sincere condolences to his friends and family. May he rest inpeace.
