Dear friends of Powerlifting,
Once more, we’re saddened t learn of the passing of Mr. Hidenao Miyamoto of the Japanese Powerlifting Association (JPA). He passed away from cancer on March 15, 2022. Mr. Miyamoto was a major and longtime contributor to the advancement and development of the JPA.
On behalf of the IPF Executive Committee, I send to Mr. Miyamoto’s family, friends and to the JPA our sincerest condolences on his passing. We will miss and Hidenao, and I want to personally thank him for supporting and contributing to our sport for so many years.
We shall miss you.
