Please find attached the CAS Judgement ruling in favor of the International Powerlifting Federation.
The CAS appeal, filed by USA Powerlifting, was dismissed.
In short, the panel decided NOT to interfere with the discretionary decision made by the IPF Court of Appeal (because of the issues with the constitution).
The panel found no reason to come to a different view, and therefore the appeal filed by USA Powerlifting with the IPF Court of Appeal stands (USA Powerlifting missed the deadline to file their appeal with the IPF Court of Appeal by 27 days).
As part of the CAS judgement, USA Powerlifting was ordered to pay CHF 5'000 (5,000.00 USD) in costs to the IPF.
